Well it says on the site : Renewable for 3 subsequent years (4 years total) provided that a 3.7 GPA is achieved in a full course load each year. Selected recipients will receive further information about renewal criteria.

Which is a 93, I think haha
And any connection you have to a judge, even a small one, puts you ahead of everyone else : )

The Queen's GPA scale actually goes above 4.0, so a 3.7 is 80-84%.

I know! 93% would be pretty difficult to maintain, especially in the humanities or social sciences.

Thanks compress

It's prettyyyy dam nice. It's very thin tho. Basically, has your acceptance letter, student ID card form, residence info, and a special note from Student Awards office regarding your entrance award in a white Queen's folder.

Oh mannnn soo exciting! Hopefully we'll all get one soon.

If you guys haven't been to visit Queen's yet I suggest you do... it's such a nice campus, and Kingston is so cute and university-ish.

I was there for my audition last week and I was like, damn, if they had a better music faculty I'd probably go for sure. Even though Queen's is my last choice right now, I'll definitely have a hard time rejecting it especially if I win Chancellor's.

Agreed, I fell in love with it when I went in like grade 10. Although recently I've been leaning more towards Western, but we'll see. And damn applying to Juilliard? I'm assuming that's your first choice?

Cherrypie, you listed Trinity as your first choice for UofT, right? Doesn't it suck that the trin application is due on the same day that we find out about chancellor's? Because I'm definitely accepting Queen's if I win, so all this time spent trying to decipher the stupid picture will have been wasted.

Completely agree. I've written the first one already, but I can't bring myself to get started on the creative piece. It's so very painful.

I know! I'm a lot less nervous than I thought I would be at this time, probably because I have little hope that I actually won. Howeverrr, this might change when I'm logging on to Solus on Friday aha. Do you guys think the status will be updated during working hours on Friday? Or will it be like OUAC, updated in the middle of the night? I'm going to be up all night Thursday (early Friday morning I guess) doing a chem lab so I'd love to find out before I go to school.

Same I'm pretty chill about it. I really dont mind if i win or not, Queen's is amazing with scholarships in general. I am satisfied with what they already gave me. But the honour in winning it, would be indescribable.

Good luck to everyone! I am sure at least one of us in this thread will get it
