In the acceptance packet I received, it said that I had to maintain a B in all my courses or else they have the right to take back the offer of admission. Last year a student from my school also got into Queen's Commerce but got a 79 in English 2nd Semester and he got his offer taken away. Queen's Commerce Class of 2016

Yeah I am not expecting to get the scholarship, so I'm not to worried. I just want to find out if I get in to Queen's! If you don't win the scholarship, will they tell us on the 10th, or any time before the 10th?

Hi guys! Is anyone else completely losing it and checking SOLUS every 5 minutes for Chancellors? Anyways, as an IB student, I just wanted to ask since my MOCK exams are coming up, does it really matter how well I do in them - in terms of revoking my offer or potential scholarship? I already got accepted into Queens Arts and the only set condition was that I get a total of 28 on my final external grades. I'm finding myself not really caring about the MOCK exams because they're not the final grades, and either way I'm sure I'll be getting above a 28 on my actual finals

Mine is involved with Queen's so I don't think she's allowed to say haha, but it's probably a good sign if they have been, although not necessarily a bad one if they haven't. And to finally respond to an earlier topic, I reread my entrance scholarship offer in the package today and provided I maintain a 75% average in the courses used for admissions, as well as meet any graduation requirements my school sets forth, they will NOT revoke any offer regardless of my final marks. However, my school operates on a system where I take 7 classes year-round, not in two semesters, and I know a lot of you are IB so I believe you DO need those final marks. BUT for anyone else in a situation similar to mine (or those who will read this thread mid-freakout next year!), once Queen's gives you money they don't take it away. at the end of the year if your grades go up, they will also re-evaluate the offer then and possibly give you more. so all in all not a bad system! I'm sure you're all super involved and motivated people, or else you wouldn't have been nominated in the first place. Just wondering, does anyone else's award status still say "in progress"? On my SOLUS, it says all that stuff about Chancellor's and acceptance under the admissions tab, but not the award status pop up window. Hey Congratz and don't worry mine said the same thing I think they will update the major admission awards tab after they give out all the chancellor's scholarships But as long as your admission tab shows that you got accepted and received the scholarship you've won!

mine still says in progress for the award application status and the admission still says pending.. I MIGHT ACTUALLY DIE IF I DON'T WIN. **Shields**

For me I got an email that was like, "Congrats... you have been offered admission... check your SOLUS account for information regarding awards/scholarships... blah blah blah". So I checked and under the admission status tab it gave an offer of admission and chancellor's offer. Queen's Arts '16 Chancellor's Scholarship Recipient
