Did anyone get the Chancellor's Scholarship yet? I got accepted to Queen's Commerce (Chancellor's Nominee) but I only got $2000 for scholarship. Does that automatically put me out of the race for Chancellor's Scholarship?

Congrats to all those who have received offers! How long did you guys have to wait from the time you sent your PSE to the offer of admission?

I think most people who received acceptances from Queen's so far were either Chancellor's Scholarship winners or Chancellor's Nominees. Hello, I'm an American student who will be applying in 2 years, so I'm doing my best to prepare myself for Queen's and other schools such as McGill (which my father graduated from) and other schools like UWO (Ivey). I had one question: Is the Queen's Chancellor Scholarship only for residents of Canada? Or can American students be nominated as well. Thanks! **Shields**

I think most of us heard early because we were chancellor's nominees, which means we all handed in our applications by december 1. I found out on solus a day or two before they emailed me/updated it on ouac. Queen's Commerce [accepted]

For those of you that have been accepted because of the Chancellor nomination...don't feel special. My real respect goes out to those that submit the essay, and get in through the competitive process. Too many dumb Chancellor nominees here at QC this year, that got a nomination cuz there high school has a graduating class of 50... Dual Degree in Economics & Commerce

That's definitely not what I was trying to say! I was just trying to clarify that we heard early because of the nomination for the people who are anxious about acceptance. Queen's has tons of essays to read so it takes longer - not to worry :) Queen's Commerce [accepted]

Queen's Commerce is great, I think you'll love it here. I've never heard anyone complain about their experience, maybe the workload and the competition but we knew that came with the program. Dual Degree in Economics & Commerce

What are my chances of getting into Queen's? My first semester marks were: ENG4U-English-84% HRE4M-Religion-94% CIA4U-Economics-89% 89% AVG I took Adv. Functions in grade 11 which was 86, so my AVG is 88.25% before 2nd semester. My second semester projected marks: IDC4U-Financial Securities-96% MCV4U-Calculus-90% BAT4M-Accounting-96% 94%AVG I have solid EC's and I think i did really well on the PSE/Commerce essay.
