This song is not really a favorite of mine, just the means that they use to make the song its extra cool.

you bet your bottom dollar that i'm gonna quote you. the people in this generation listen to whatever they want and not care what other people think.

heck, i'm just fascinated about how music has the ability to influence one's mood. uplifting music can both divert, entertain and revive. sad, soulful music can provide solace, encourage mental work and discharge emotions. overall, i'm just pointing out that everyone has different musical tastes and putting certain genres of music on a pedestal doesn't make someone inferior for not listening to it. you get my drift? so don't discriminate. show love and appreciate (for music and people alike)

never mind my first post which is just an attempt to see what someone would say^ (or you can call it experimental trolling).
you can't say to shows love and appreciation to something like rap which only gives a bad influence. their is no joy or love in most of those songs, just racist, sexist comments and the usual go rob a bank and smoke some weed story. you are right that it has an ability to change someones mood, but mostly in a violent way, listen to some of these songs, their so famous just because the new generation likes how much they swear in them. point is you can't say everyone has a right to listen to whatever they want and not care what others think. people from the new generation are mostly lost idiots who think their normal. (last sentence just my opinion)

Well i think its best that you just keep your opinion to yourself. People can listen to what they want - not everyone listens to music for the lyrics. You really have no right declaring what type of music is socially acceptable, and calling people "pussies" because their music genre is not compatible with yours. You like hard rock? Cool deal, man. Its just a forum for general entertainment to see people who have things in common, calm down.

Everyone has their own tastes in music, fact. I did notice how the majority of people in my generation listen to your typical Rap, and Pop music. I listen to a lot of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, and Death Metal (If you want me to go out of the norm on you)

I also play really fast paced music on guitar!

I'm one of the few people in my school who listens to "Heavier" music that's usually categorized as "Screamo" which it isn't lol. I also listen to Electronica, Rap, and Pop Punk. I also like Classical music because that's what my Dad raised me on, so I have an appreciation for different types of music.

"House of the Rising Sun" by the Animals

"Love, Reign o'er Me" by the Who

"Last Dance with Mary Jane" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

"In the Evening" by Led Zeppelin

Well NeptuniumTrioxide, first off you need to learn the proper uses of there, their, and they're. Second off rap isn't just bad influences; apperently you've never listened to it. I for one consider myself to have a fairly broad range of music and know and equal amount of metal songs that are just as bad as rap songs. brilsmurf
