I am going to teach Dramatic Arts and History at the Intermediate/Senior level. I think that it is a great combination because it gives me a chance to make History more fun since so many students find it boring, although I find it quite fascinating.

i would love to teach high school music. instrumental & vocal. i feel that by the time students reach high school, they're in the music program because they really want to be there. plus i also love music & think i'd be a decent teacher :) Kenisse Trotman

I would love to be a high school social studies teacher (I'm majoring in history. But i would like to later on go back and get my PhD in history so i could become a professor! I love to learn about history there is just so much you can find out! The best part about teaching is hat you are always learning in the process. Remember we can always learn from history :P "Under all speech that is good for anything there lies a silence that is better. Silence is deep as Eternity; speech is shallow as Time." - Thomas Carlyle

Personally, I wouldn't want to teach in high school. I would much rather teach in elementary! I would love teaching grade 1s all the way through to grade 7. I'm good with kids and I always help my two younger siblings with their elementary school work so I think I'm pretty good at teaching younger kids. **Shields** Accepted: University of Toronto: Social Sciences + Vic One (Pearson Stream) Carleton University: Honours Science University of British Columbia: Arts

I want to teach the basic skills (math, reading, and writing; english if they're interested) to children from other countries who have no opportunity to learn, and then arrange for them to learn about what they're interested in at a middle or post-secondary school.

I want to be a grade 8 teacher so there are a bunch of subjects that you end up teaching but all in all i LOVE science. Grade 8 science isnt very specific but i personally like biology. When i become a teacher i hope to be teaching english, science, drama and art. Science becuase i just find it fun, and you can do experiments and get the students engaged its not just a text book subject. English id love to make it more exciting for students to learn

I had a really good geography teacher in my final year of highschool who showed me fun and exciting ways to learn geography driving me to teach.

TO be more specific I'm planning on teaching grades 5-8, with math and/or geography as my focus. I love math and geography, but I don't think theres too much jobs for English/social science teacher, So I'm just going to focus on math beacause teachers of that subject are in demand.....But I want to teach in an elementary or middle school so it might not matter much anyway. I would love to teach advanced English classes and if possible, introduce to students the appealing world that old writers (such as Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, etc.) promise readers with their literature classics.
