Today I was accepted into U of T St. George, and was wondering if they mention that you have an enterance scholarship in the acceptance? I only have been accepted through the portal (no email, no mail yet). So I was wondering. My average is above 92% also.
Has anyone else been accepted and were given an enterance scholarship?
Do they give the enterance scholarship when they send you the email/mail?
Also, I have been accepted into Victoria College - how will I know if I have received an enterance scholarship for Vic or not?

Hey, I'm in the same boat as you. :) Anyway, I was looking around the Vic website. Look at this long list of scholarships that the college offers! http://www.vic.utoronto.ca/Assets/VicCollege+Digital+Assets/Registrar/Awards+and+Benefactors+Book.pdf:D Waterloo AFM-PA [/color], Rotman Commerce, Queen's Commerce, Western BMOS + Ivey, York Schulich, McMaster DeGroote, UTSC Co-op Management

I just got my acceptance letter today with a $2000 entrance scholarship. They said I may still be considered for more scholarships though. Queen's Arts '16 Chancellor's Scholarship Recipient

Also, I have been accepted into Victoria College - how will I know if I have received an enterance scholarship for Vic or not? Congratulations on being accepted to U of T and Victoria College! If your academic average was above 92%, you will be guaranteed at least $2,000 in President's Entrance from U of T. This is a little confusing sometimes, so I can explain here. If Victoria College has also decided to award you an entrance scholarship, say $1,500, then U of T will add an extra $500 to make it a $2,000 scholarship. If Victoria College grants you $3,500, then unfortunately U of T's President's Entrance Scholarship will not come into effect, but you will get to have all $3,500 of course. Basically it is there to ensure that you receive at least $2,000 from any U of T institution to go towards your studies. I cannot remember if it is noted in the email you first get, but it should definitely be in the letter of acceptance you get in the mail! University of Toronto (Trinity College) | Loran

Thank you! I received the email, but it only mentioned that the conditions of the offer and further information will be on the mailed package.

Hey there!
I received a conditional entrance scholarship offer of $4000 from Victoria College when I got my acceptance e-mail from them last month. My acceptance e-mail to U of T itself (which I received on the 15th) didn't say anything about a scholarship, but my acceptance package which came in the mail today offered me an additional $5000 (I think they called it a 'University of Toronto Scholar' award).
My grade eleven top six average was 96%, and my first semester average for this year was 95%. I hope this helps, and best of luck to you!

If your average from first semester was lower than 92%, but you raise your average to over 92% at midterms of semester two, will U of T offer you an entrance scholarship or is it too late?

For those who were accepted to Uoft St George, if you would like would you mind telling me your avarage and which faculty you applied to, because i applied to life science at St George UofT with a 94% and i havent gotten accepted yet and i really want to get accepted before mid-term of second semester.

I was nervous at first, but everyone was really nice and I was able to get answers to a lot of my questions. ^^ salimush wrote:For those who were accepted to Uoft St George, if you would like would you mind telling me your avarage and which faculty you applied to, because i applied to life science at St George UofT with a 94% and i havent gotten accepted yet and i really want to get accepted before mid-term of second semester. I was accepted to the faculty of arts and sciences with an average of 95%. Did you send your application in last minute? I can't really think of any other reason why you wouldn't have gotten an early acceptance, unless life science is a very competitive course. I don't doubt you'll be accepted with that average, but you might not get your e-mail until May. I think that's when the regular acceptances are sent out; I'm not sure whether or not they do another round of early acceptances before then.

no i actually applied pretty early. Do you think they will be accepting more kid prior to may. I dont mean early acceptances because i think early acceptances are over by now, but accpeting kids just ingeneral. Oh btw if its not to much to ask which college/building did you pick as your top choice. I've heard different colleges are more competitive and harder to get in, dont know whether thats a rumor or not.
