pinaysmiley16 wrote:just got my semester 1 marks. My average was a 78%, could I still get accepted into Ryerson if I work hard in second semester? Yes you can! I had a garbage 1st semester average. and pulled 90's in second semester to bring my average up into the 80's. But this is required extreme amounts of work and dedication, your average was much MUCH higher than mine, and I still got into Ryerson Centennial last year :) So don't worry, you have hope Ryerson GB 2016!

my marks are: 12 U biology 80 12 U english 81 12 U data management 90 12 U chemistry 81 and i will most likely be around an 85-89 in food&nutrition and photography both 12M courses. My average will be around an 84%, i applied to trent, nipissing, laurentian and windsor. Do i have a good likelihood of being accepted to any of these?

Anyone know when the next round of offers will be? I have all my pre-reqs and stand at 81% hoping to get into either George Brown/Centennial Collaborative program. I heard that you need a minimum of 78% overall, I'm pretty sure I'm in a good position but I'm getting impatient every day.

I got into ryerson's and UOIT's collab nursing program. I know that after i confirm my offer i have to pay a confirmation fee. The confirmation fee for ryerson is $1000 and for UOIT it is $100. why is ryerson's fee so expensive compare to uoit O_O ?..

Hey, I was accepted to the york/seneca program, but kinda want to be accepted to the gb/ryerson or cent/ryerson programs. has anyone received an acceptance to george brown/ryerson or cent/ryerson? If so, what are the conditions outlined, like, what averages do you need to maintain in order to keep your acceptance? thanks :)

okay another question! :P so my grade 12 courses are
-french immersion -sociology -biology -data -chemistry -english
i only have the 6 required courses, and I was wondering if I did better in grade 11 math than I do in data, will they count the data mark because it's one of the 6 grade 12 courses, or will they count the grade 11 mark?

For york/seneca's nursing program they want you to have a grade 12 University math as your prerequisite so they would count your data mark. But for ryerson's collaborative nursing program you can have either have a grade 11 university math or a grade 12 univerity math as your prerequisite. So yes, if your grade 11 math mark was higher they wud use that to calculate your top 6.

Hey guys. I got into Western, McMaster, Nipissing and McGill for Nursing... but have absolutely no clue where to go hahahaha... Any thoughts would be really, really helpful!
Although, pretty much discounting McGill because it's so expensive and they weren't very clear about their conditions :/
Thanks, and congrats and good luck to everyone ^^

As long as the program is still open, which I am positive it is. I applied the Friday before the march break and got accepted the following Tuesday. If you're in the low 80's, I'm sure Humber will take you. Which Ryerson site(s) did you apply to anyway?

I've read on the Humber site it says Applicants that applied after Feb 1 will be considered on a first come first serve basis so I wasn't sure if I would stand a chance S: I applied to all three of them & York/Seneca collab, but im getting really worried..
