From reading the groups from previous years, a lot of people didn't hear back until early April. Most of the time when they give you a date, they rarely stick to it! I'll actually be calling tomorrow to find out when we will hear back; I'll post what I find out here.

They said the same thing last year and I just checked my email for when I actually heard back from them &didn't get an email (saying my application status has changed) till the 10th of April, so I'm not expecting anything anytime "soon" this year either :p I think they do the draw and notify the institution as they've stated on the website "at the end of March" but we aren't notified until much later...just a hypothesis 8-|

I'm a 3rd year university student but I'm posting this here because I don't see any other Explore topics anywhere on this forum! Getting really anxious about finding out...the website always said early April but lately it changed to late March.. although I'm sure it'll still be at least a few days before we hear anything. Excited though, really hoping I get in!

I emailed the Ontario person and this is what she said: The Explore bursary draw should occur in the next few days. Right after the draw, your status on our website will be updated and you can verify this change by signing in to your account at www.myexplore.ca. You will also receive an email to the address associated with your Explore application. Good luck!

Does anyone know if we can find out how far down the list we are? I pretty much planned my summer around this. :(

Btw, does anybody know how the residences and the food system works? Like do all the explore people stay in the same place? Are they co-ed, etc?

Going to Université de Saint-Boniface in Winnipeg for the summer! Hooray I was hoping for somewhere in Quebec, and somewhere with a 16-17 age range (I'm 16 and don't want to end up alone). Oh well. Could anybody who's been there give an age or gender breakdown? Same with residence, are the floors divided by age? Wilfrid Laurier University BBA/BCS double degree- Class of 2018
Acceptance average: 95.3%
