Yeah I applied as well. What kind of EC's and averages does everyone have? Do you think they will hand out more MES this year cause they dropped their presidents scholarship? UBC Engineering Accepted

I heard that they will be giving out more MES's this year, it says so on the website too but it would have been nice to get that 5k (or whatever the PES amount was). When does UBC start giving out offers? Does anyone know? UBC Sauder- accepted

"All applicants will be notified of their status by April 30, 2012." ^That's what it says on the website, so I assume they'll be doing it gradually throughout April. I also applied; best of luck everyone! McGill University - Class of 2016

I think UBC is unlike most universities in that their acceptances are quite scattered, as opposed to done in chunks, so I don't think you have much to worry about maex, as long as your average is in the eighties! Also Hdefinition, I read that they're handing out 80, which is quite a bit, and that they have increased that number from last year's total. McGill University - Class of 2016

How long after submitting your documents did you have to wait to be accepted? UBC Sauder- accepted

I got a phone call yesterday saying I received the provost 15k mes. :D no update on the student service centre or thru email though, just the call.

Does anyone know if you get a UBC scholarship, will it automatically be sent to pay for your tuition.. because I also have other scholarships that need to be used to pay for first year tuition only, anything else I will lose those scholarships. If the UBC scholarships does automatically pay for your tuition, is there a way to prevent that or is that not allowed?
