I would also recommend Spirited Away. It's a beautiful movie, such a masterpiece! I know some people who are hesitant because it's anime, but I've yet to find someone who watched it and disliked it. :)

Rent is another of my top movies. It is everything that a movie should be; inspiring; beautiful; well acted and put together with a wonderful soundtrack. I watched it last night and absolutely bawled my eyes out.

Also, the movie Acceptance isn't my favourite but it was super funny and was about students who created their own college, so it's kind of applicable. It really helped with some of my "my gawd what am I doing with the rest of my life" stress.

Interview with the Vampire is the last movie that I'll recommend. It's everything that vampires are supposed to be, and is absolutely lovely. The author of the series also wrote the screenplay, which means that it's excellent. :)

batman <<<- And you can never go wrong with Batman.

It's hard to pick only five... but at the moment, the five that stand out in my mind would have to be: Memento, Moon, Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, Titanic ( I really can't get enough of titanic..)
