I was accepted a couple months ago (2nd week of March) and will likely be accepting my offer this weekend :) Last semester my average was about 91-92 (I was surprised they accepted me so early b/c my average wasn't too high), this semester around 89-90. I have a few pretty good extracurriculars though that I've been committed to throughout high school, including a p/t job. My essays were okay, nothing spectacular but still decent. I felt one of them was pretty creative so maybe that helped? anyone else excited? :P Schulich BBA 2016

PS, if anyone could please reply to this: If you live in the Square 1 area of Mississauga, will you be commuting if you do decide to attend Schulich? I live in Mississauga, not in that specific area but I will be commuting. First to sq.1 and then take the go bus to York. The go transit website has a list of bus times and a mini schedule for York buses. Each ride there is 30-40 mins depending on the time of day and monthly passes are ~$170. Schulich BBA 2016

Same situation as cookie =c. Does anyone know if they will continue sending out waves of acceptances or are they more likely to just send out a few depending on space left over?

I ask because according to that link I posted earlier it says we must keep a minimum average of 85% which is much easier to maintain than my current mark :P

If you have your acceptance then i don't think they will take away your offer as long as you keep above 85% but its probably best that you don't get lazy and drop more than 5%. Not only will your scholarship get reduced accordingly (i.e. If you had 92% and dropped to 87% your scholarship will go from 2k/year to 1k/year) but this information may be wrong. As long as you drop less than 5% it should be alright.

Yeah I was thinking about that too, like I know what you mean b/c the way it's stated makes it seem as though your offer will be revoked if you don't have the same/higher average than they accepted you with.. but then again that doesn't seem very reasonable to do that unless it's a significant change. That's just the way it was stated in my letter, didn't say anything about the 85% thing for me (although yeah that'd be easier for sure lol let's hope it's that). Schulich BBA 2016

Yea the scholarship thing is true and I am not saying that I wanna get lazy just cuz I got accepted...I am doing the best I can to increase my mark in the exams. The only reason I asked was because like Raspberries said, the way its stated makes it seems as though they can revoke the admission if you don't have the exact same grades as the ones you were admitted with. I just wanted to make sure before I decided to accept the offer :P.
Thank you Raspberries and mSoo for your input

when they say maintain 85 average, do they mean your top 6? or all 8 or whatever we have combined?

Interesting, and do you know how long the Go Bus will take to go to York? I am really afraid I am going to have to be waking up at mad hours just to go to school. I'm also very wary about having to mission it to York even for the smallest reason. Schulich School of Business Class of 2016

I'm the same way, like I don't think anyone likes commuting and I'm definitely not looking forward to it.. a one way trip from the square one bus terminal normally takes between 30-45 minutes. If you go at a quieter time of the day it'll be around half an hour but if you go at rush hour it'll obviously take a bit more time. If you google "go bus square one" the station's page is the first hit. Or go onto the go transit website, click travelling with us -> stations -> Square One bus terminal. http://www.gotransit.com...tions.aspx?station=s1tm
If you click on the "mini schedule" for York U. it'll show you the time of a departure and when you'll arrive to/from York/Sq. 1: http://www.gotransit.com...CurrentBoard/S1TMYU.pdf
I also think you can buy go bus tickets/passes at the Mississauga transit bus terminal at Square One. Here are the fares that should apply to you, no HST is charged btw: Adult single-ride ticket $6.95 Adult two-ride ticket $13.90 Adult day pass $13.90 Student 10-ride ticket $59.00 Student monthly pass $195.00 I haven't gotten used the the go bus system either, but quite honestly it would not take any less time going to the UTM campus. You'd have to get the square one and bus from there another 30 mins anyways. I noticed that most of York's earlier courses start at 8:30, so if you have to be at the campus for 8-8:15 you'd need to be at the go bus station by 7:15-7:30. Schulich BBA 2016

Plus if you get a monthly pass anyways, it's not like you'll have to pay for each individual trip.. it'll just take a couple hours out of your day but there's no winning when it comes down to it :P Schulich BBA 2016

On myfile and OUAC it says i got accepted, but in my physical letter mailed to my house it says:
If, after all applications have been considered, we are able to make an offer to your original program choice, we'll contact to let you know.
My friends are saying i still made it because it says admitted on OUAC and myfile.
Did anyone else get this too or does anyone know if i have made it?
