Please note your Ivey AEO offer is conditional upon:
Receipt of an official offer of admission from The University of Western Ontario or an affiliated university college.
Students may only hold AEO status if they are a student at The University of Western Ontario (or affiliated university college). Should you not receive an offer of admission from The University of Western Ontario (or affiliated university college) by May 29, your Ivey AEO offer will become void.
Except May 29 is fast approaching and no offer from Western has come yet.
I know in theory it doesn't make much sense. If i get my Ivey i should get my Western. But I can't help but to worry.
Did anyone hear stories about any offers taken away in the previous years that is similar to my situation? Or anyone in the same boat right now?
Hey, same thing happened with me in my AEO acceptance. Western sent out an email a few weeks saying that they won't start acceptances again till May 14th, then gradually rolling out offers till the 29th. No need to worry! It's pretty much impossible not to get AEO without getting into Western too. Btw, what did you apply to at Western? Different faculties may take longer to accept than others, I applied to BMOS by the way
Hey! Thanks for your response! That made me feel a bit better knowing that i'm not the only one. Then its probably a matter of different process. :)
But I just checked my Ivey inside track and there was something that went like this, did you noice?
To accept or decline your offer:
Click the "Ivey Offer" button in the upper right corner and
Reply to your Western or Affiliated University College offer online at the OUAC site
www.ouac.on.ca by the designated deadline in your offer letter.
If you have not received an offer letter from Western, please contact Ivey HBA Program Services at 519-661-4111.So i'm thinking maybe its better if we call? Ughh i dont knoww!!!
And I applied for Arts and Humanities as well as BMOS. :)
