Just a shout out to Mr. Lee for never giving up on me and always motivated me to do my best. If it weren't for you, I would never have gone from an average "C" student to the TOP student of the school. THANK YOU!!

I'd like to thank my Drama teacher Mr. Randolf Swyer. Going to an arts school, high school can become pretty cut throat and intense as students compete for the best grades and lead roles in school productions. But as I step into Mr. Swyer's drama class every day, all competition goes out the window and we enter into a realm of theater like no other. Mr. Swyer taught me so much about myself and performance, and I know I'm not the only student who has learned so much from him.
Thanks Swy!! You're the greatest :)

I would like to thank Mrs. Brenda Prescesky (my Communication Instructor) for helping not only me, but also my other classmates improve our communication skills. Our second semester at SAIT would not be great, fun, and interesting without your motivating course.
In behalf of com260 E students, again, I would like to thank you and acknowledge all of your great efforts for letting us have a great semester. Thank you and GOD Bless.

Dear Mr. Robert Routledge,
I want to personally "Thank You!" for the effort you gave in teaching Tree and Herbaceous Plant Identification at Sault College. Due to the fact that you require 65% to pass the course, the pressure is on to perform every week. You donated time to your students on weeknights and even weekends through in lab tutorials, and hikes to practice our identification skills in the field. Without you, it wouldn't have been possible to be nearly as successful as I was in your course.
Outside of the school environment, Rob helped make moving from London,Ontario to Sault Ste. Marie,Ontario a smooth transition. On some weekends when we weren't practicing our plant identification, Rob would invite his students to go ice fishing with him to a lake north of the City. Fishing these lakes would not have been possible for many of us because you need vehicles to get to them, something that many college students don't have. Rob not only helped us succeed in the classroom, but he got us involved in the lifestyle of Northern Ontario. Rob is the reason why so so many of my fellow classmates and I now call The Sault home, and plan to for the years to come. Again, thank you Rob!

I'd like to say 'Thank you' to my Algorithms professor, Lorna Stewart, for being an inspiring lecturer and exceedingly helpful and impressive outside of class. This was a course that helped build my confidence while leading me to discover new interests, so thanks!

To Greg Clemens of Fanshawe College (Architectural Technology),
Not only were you a teacher in the classroom, but a teacher outside the classroom walls, where it all mattered the most. Your dedication to bringing out the most in every student stood out beyond any other teacher I've had. You spent extra time, after hours in order to help those in need and even went as far as giving out your personal phone number for when nobody else was around. Upon graduation when the school sent us out into the world with no direction or guidance, you made a point of meeting with students to help find us employment opportunities and help us through life's challenges in an economy that can be very discouraging to young people just coming into the field. You thought of each and every student as if we were your own kids and wanted only the best for us, as you would for them. We all thought of you not only as a teacher, but a friend we will forever have and keep in touch with and for this I thank you.

To Ms Withers, A lot of students have never understood why your last name had to be that. It did not suit you in the slightest! That is why we remember you as the youthful and environmentally conscious Ms. Wiz! You have never been my teacher, but I heard great things from your students in co-op. I was lucky to have come to meet you at that first meeting in grade 9! With no reason to suck up to you, I saw so many students pass by your class every day, and coming to our extracurricular recycling team just to say hello! Thanks for being a role model with a green thumb! It is because of you that I am aware of all the actions that must be taken in order to delay the consequences of humanity's actions! Recycling, cleaning up, making awareness videos and promotional presentations has been a blast! Even outside of this group, you have coached me through all tough decisions from the stresses that come with school (applying for university, multitasking, essays, projects) to dealing with the real world (applying for a job, friends, personal conflicts). Obviously, saying thanks is the least i can do. So Thanks Wiz! Free Publicity? O_o AWESOME SAUCE! 8D ^-^ Check out some of my fellow Youtubers! http://www.youtube.com/user/DCDRhey

The best teacher I have ever had is my current biology teacher, Mr. Kevin Lin at Don Mills Collegiate. I can honestly say that his class is one that I love going to. He creates a friendly atmosphere as well as an educational one. He has pushed me to try my best and to achieve the my highest potential. Thanks to him, biology is my highest mark this semester. Also, he has taken the time to give us insightful advice about university and help us with any problems that we need to talk about. In every sense of the phrase, Mr. Lin is truly a First Class Educator.

As somebody who plans on pursuing the writing field, I'd have to say thank you to my Grade 6 English teacher, as well as my Grade 9 English teacher. Ms. Speers, you always taught me that there are so many different perspectives to a story, with the saying that will be forever engraved in my mind, "No matter how flat you make a pancake, it still has two sides." You opened up my eyes to issues happening all around the world and it made me realize that I need to be a voice to those who cannot speak. So, thank you so much for that guidance, however small you might've felt it had been. Mr. Publack, my Grade 9 teacher; words cannot explain how much he helped me improve my writing skills in all areas of mechanics and grammar. Every morning he would engage the class in a discussion about world events, and I loved being able to hear about things that weren't even happening in my own country. I would work forever on my essays for his class, sure that there could maybe be only ONE mistake possible, only to find that he had edited on almost every single page. Now, you may be thinking, well that just goes to show that maybe I don't think I can improve, but you are mistaken. He found something on almost every page that wasn't wrong, but something I could improve even better on for the next time. He showed me that no matter how hard you tried, or how well you think you did, there was always room to improve. Besides, what is the worst that could happen? Become a better writer? I passed Grade 9 with a university level writing ability, and although I'd like to say that writing has always come easy to me, I know it wouldn't be of that level if Mr. Publack had not pushed me to become better. Words cannot explain how much I thank you for this, you believed in me so much that you KNEW I could do better, even if what I had submitted really was my best. There is always that one, or a couple of teachers, that walk in to your life and make you believe in not only your abilities, but yourself. I wish there was a more meaningful word than a simple 'thank you' that I could say to fully prove how much I value that you were in my life, but I know that the only way to pay you back is to go on with my life and not only make other people believe in themselves as well, but to forever keep you in my mind as I move on to become a photojournalist-- striving to make stories heard around the world. Because at the end of the day, you two were the reason why I decided to move in that direction. Thank you.

My 9th grade math/health teacher, Laura Brake, has definitely made an impact on my current school year, as well as my peers'. Her unconventional ways are both refreshing and inspiring. Whether it be a spontaneous yoga class or getting a coveted peppermint knob (a reward for demonstrated knowledge), she gives us a reason to enjoy school. She's never seen without a smile and positive attitude and, when she's really happy, she'll teach us lessons in funny accents, like Apu from the Simpsons or some stuck-up British person. I didn't know how special of a teacher she was until she had to leave for a month to teach at other schools, and we were left with a substitute whose methods were very much different. It has been much harder learning without her unique style, and I know that when she finally returns tomorrow, everyone will be happy and relieved to have her back. She's taught us that you should go through life with pride and a sense of humor, and that even when you're stuck in a situation, like school, where there's nothing left to motivate you, putting on a genuine smile can change an outcome. That is why I'd like to thank Ms. Brake for teaching me more than just schoolwork. Her presence has changed my life

Greetings, I would like to extend my genuine thank you to my high school English Teacher, Mrs Hardy for teaching me. It wasn't solely English that she educated me about,it was also about 'opportunites.' She told me about opportunities that seemed, at first, nonexistent in my sight. I would never try to win a contest, or try for a submission because I knew that there was only one winner. I only tried if I knew i was going to win, but she helped me look past that. She helped me discover my passion for creative writing, and I began to have an new outlook on life. I began writing short stories, and I ended up winning a competition. The old me would have enjoyed that moment of pride.. the title.. the prize. Today, I realize that winning isn't the only thing try for because I continue to write short stoires in the hopes of publishing one someday. -Thank you for teaching me.

I'd like to offer a huge thanks to Mr. John Esford at Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School in Kingston. For three years he has taught me the fundamentals of communications technology, helped me to build connections with members of the media in my city, and continued to inspire me to do my best in my desired field of study. When I finally catch a break and get into the media, I'll always remember the countless hours he spent working with me to make sure I got there. Thank you Mr. Esford. This is the least I could do for you, a true First Class Educator.

I want to post a Thank-you to Mr. Scott Weibe my Pre-Calculus teacher at SCHS. Thank you for being there before EVERY test when Arianne and I came for help. We were probably very annoying after a while but you were still willing to help us out with all our homework issues, test prep and keeping us calm before the exam. You were a great teacher in class and was always willing to help outside of class as well. You made Pre-Calculus a lot of fun I am very thankful for that. Thanks again!

I want to say Thank you to my english teacher Mrs.Coco at Lester B. Pearson High school.
This is the first time I had her for a teacher and in the beginning my class and me gave her a really hard time. She is a young teacher and we took advantage of her flexibility. But as days went by and she made our class of strangers into a family,it made me and I think everyone else in class how strong and aspiring she is. She is not a regular high school teaher she is much more then that. She is a friend and thats what makes her so different and unique. She is the one teacher that sees me differently and understands my every mood, every struggle and thought.
Thank you once again Mrs. Coco, you are truly an awesome teacher,I hope i have you as my teacher again for next year. <3

I would like to say "Thank you!" to Mrs. Lorna MacDonald, my English teacher at Centre scolaire Étoile de l'Acadie.
I am a rare student. I have attended the same school for 13 years, from grade primary right up to grade 12. As an Acadian student attending a French school (fully French, not immersion) in a dominantly English-speaking community in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, I, along with my fellow classmates, have had to overcome a lot throughout our academic careers. In fact, many of our students transfer to larger English schools once they reach grade 10. For the few of us that stay, we are often asked why we made that decision. Everyone has their reason. Mine happens to be a teacher.
Lorna MacDonald has taught me English since Grade 3, and she is without a doubt one of the biggest inspirations to me. In fact, she is not only the reason I stayed to be one of 4 students in our 2012 graduating class; she is also the reason I am going into education for my post-secondary studies. I aspire to be a language and social studies teacher for secondary students, and she is possibly my biggest role models in that respect.
In all the years I have been her student, I have always felt the most comfortable in her classroom. The abundance of books made me feel so welcome and at home, and there was always such an incredible atmosphere in that room. Certainly, the teacher made the most difference. Mme. Lorna, as we have always called her, has always been more than just en educator for me and many others. She is someone we can talk to, who always knows what's going on, knows all our families, and takes a genuine interest in the lives of her students. Since grade 3, I have always known that, no matter what was going on in the day, stepping through her door would brighten my mood.
Teaching English to both Elementary and Secondary level students in a French school can be a challenge. But Mme. Lorna has always taken the time to know each student's individual needs when it comes to learning. Whether a student is having difficulty and requires additional attention, or is miles ahead of the rest and needs a new challenge (as was and is the case with myself), no one will ever feel under-appreciated.
This past February marked my very last class with Mme. Lorna, and it must be said that I miss being her student. This semester, for my Careers class, we were required to spend a day job-shadowing someone who works in the domain we would like to pursue in the future. I believe it goes without saying that I spent the day with this incredible woman.
So, once again, Thank you!

My First Class Educator would without a doubt be Mr. Brennan. He was my gym teacher throughout elementary school, from grade Primary to grade six. He was and continues to be an inspiring person. Mr. Brennan was famous for the Adventure Playground. Every year between Christmas at H.R.H and the Spring Fling, he started pulling stuff out of storage and collecting refrigerator and washer/dryer boxes from all the parents. The playground was a monstrosity, filling the gym with an obstacle course containing slides, rope swings, balance beams, box tunnels and tires. He suffered from water on the knee, and walked with a cane. The playground resulted from an enormous amount of effort on his part, as it was completely volunteer-run. I used to talk to him often during our classes, and loved to ask questions. He told me he volunteered because he was already happy, and wanted to make other people happy too. Hard work always pays off, so work on the stuff you're not good at yet. Be nice, play fair. He taught me a lot of kindness, and a fair bit of discipline. My favourite lesson learned was to watch what you say, because you never know how much it means to the other person! My name is Katie, but I did not like the name Kate. Mr. Brennan called me Kate every day, until I told him otherwise. We talked a lot after that. He was an imposing figure (at least to 10 year olds!), but never lost the smile we were all so familiar with. Thank you Mr. Brennan, for doing everything you could for us, every year it was possible.

I would like to give thanks to Mme. Parent from E.J.L. High School. I have only had the privilege to have her as a teacher in two classes but she has been my swim coach through out High School. With that said, she has taught me to always push myself to do my best. Furthermore, she has taught me to always improve the skills that are lacking and to never settle for good but constantly strive for excellence. Likewise, I have learned from Mme. Parent that even if a supervisor is not there to over see your work you should not become careless with your work. By reason off, that it one less opportunity of improving yourself. To sum up, thank you Mme. Parent for not only teaching me school lessons but also life lessons that I will keep with me for the next journey in life.

%I would like to say thank you to Mrs. Smith for all the help she has given me. She was my English teacher last year. I am in grade 10 and had finished my English course last semester. I had NO idea how to write an essay or structured report and she taught me how. If it wasn't for her the Literacy Test would have been a struggle She was also very supportive in my creative writing. I had no trouble in story writing or poems and she pushed me to continue to write. I would like to say that I am still writing so don't worry Also, to let you know I got 90% this year so thank you
