Been waiting what seems like forever... U of t SG is my first choice. I love it so much.
I'm getting concerned because it's already May and I haven't gotten any rejection or acceptance. My average last semester was 87, this semester is 80 because I only have two classes.

Has anyone gotten an April/May acceptance for Social Sciences? It still says 'pending' on my UtorID.

When will I hear back? I have to make a choice by early June. :/
1st: University of Toronto - Accepted
2nd: University of Waterloo, Honours Arts - Accepted
3rd: Queen's University, Honours Arts - Accepted
4th: Laurier (late application) - Accepted

U of T is infamous for keeping people waiting. If you're applying from an Ontario high school it takes longer to process your application (at least that's what I heard) and it depends on the college that you applied to as well as some colleges are better at keeping track of their admission decisions. But with an average in the 80's you should hear from them pretty soon.

Source: My friend's average was in the mid 70's and she got accepted at UTSG.

You should definitely hear back soon! I got in at the end of March for Social Science with an 88% average so they're definitely just taking a long time with your application, but you'll get in for sure.

Also, @LightsOwl, I noticed you got accepted to Ryerson English. A friend of mine applied and hasn't been accepted yet. Do you mind sharing what your average for the program was? And if you know anyone else that got in? Thank you!

I got an early acceptance in January before semester 1 exams with my grade 11 average which was 85%. The people I know who have gotten into Ryerson had marks in the 80's. In my acceptance letter from Ryerson they said I had to get an overall average of 80% in six U or M courses if I wanted to retain my spot in the program.
