Unfortunately, your average for Western and Queen's is 84.5 (they don't round up), from what I calculated. Might not be quite good enough for BioMed, but depending on your PSE it should be good enough for Queen's. I have an 87 avg, and I haven't gotten into BioMed and I don't believe I will to be honest.

Remember, your average is including the Pre-reqs, which for Biomed are English, Functions, Bio and Chem in your situation, and your next two highest marks. For Queen's Science the pre-reqs are English, Calc, Functions, Bio and Chem in your situation, and your next highest mark.

Keep your chin up and good luck!

thanks for the insight, but ive been signing onto the queens student centre and it says my application is pending still. So does that mean i still have a change at queens? Yep looking at other peoples marks i know for sure i have no chance for biomed, well i still got accepted for the general science and hopefully if i can maintain a high gpa i can applied for biomed second year

aquarius, does your friend have any special circumstances, or is he/she in an IB program? It seems like the cutoff for McMaster Life Sci is around 87.5% right now..
I have an 86.8% average, and if your friend got in with an 85.5%, then I should've gotten an acceptance by now too..

Thats impossible since i got a rejection letter and it said you need an 88%+ in order to be accepted

if you read the email they sent, its pretty much we got to wait until June 15, since by June 1 everyone needs to accept an offer to which uni their going to, and after that Queens will have spots available, but depending on the number you are on waiting list. You will get a notice before June 15 if your accepted to their program or not

its too late to get into anything right now that is a decent university with a decent program, since today was the last day for universities to send out admission. I don't really mind since Queens called me up and said i was at the top of the list for the waitlist, so hopefully i get into Queens :D

You should never go with that mentality. It was in fact not too late. I got rejected from Mac Life Sci last week, so I applied to Mac Enviro Sci (planning to switch majors 2nd year) and then called the admissions department a couple days later to make sure my application got through. I got a call yesterday from the same lady at the admissions department, I got in and today I got an email from Mac stating I got in.

exactly, so your telling me that you would rather do grade 13, then go to a "non decent" university?
