Personally I think any 3 year university programs are not worth it. Even with 4 year programs, most students learn a lot on the job. 3 year programs don't prepare you enough.
I'd say go back , if your school won't take you back, go find a better school.

Chemistry does not matter for computer science...however, your Advanced Functions mark is too low for it (if anyone goes to Waterloo for computer science, they take 4 math courses in the first year). AF and C&V matter because computer science is math-based. You first need to find out what went wrong in your math courses, then fix that problem. Math is exclusively computational at the high school level, so try to be more accurate in your calculations. If your other marks are good, then just retake those courses. Apply to some 4 year honours program at some better universities such as Waterloo or Toronto after that. If your school does not take you in for an extra year, then you should go to another school that is willing...the province is doing something to discourage victory lap practices as far as I know, this might be one of them. University of Waterloo, Honours Mathematics, Regular

Waiting for Standardized Test Score - AP CALCULUS AB
Application in consideration Request for Transfer into Co-operative Education (at the end of 1B)

I would do a victory lap if I were you because a 3 year degree may limit your future opportunities if you plan on pursuing graduate studies. **Shields** Accepted: University of Toronto: Social Sciences + Vic One (Pearson Stream) Carleton University: Honours Science University of British Columbia: Arts

If you live in Ontario they can't reject you for a victory lap.

Just go to Windsor. Computer Science is standard pretty much anywhere in Canada. For Computer Science, you are really just getting the name. If you do plan on repeating, apply to UOIT, if you haven't already, if your mark does not increase by much (I think Admission Average was ~70%). Its a good tech school if you are able to ignore all the things people say it is. Its not a UofT or UW but it is a fast growing university. UTSC - Computer Science Coop 2016

I would say that in this case, doing a victory lap might be better. But first, you have to find out why you are doing so poorly on your math courses because until you fix it, you will not survive the rigourous proof-based math in university. Even people who get 90s in high school struggle to keep 80s in university (and in some universities, the passing grade is 60% or above). Math is the foundation of computer science, without knowing it, you will struggle to understand the concepts and eventually fail as the material becomes harder. I am going into Grade 12 (see my signature) this September, and already worrying about whether or not I will get above 95 on my math courses (all 3 of them!) Someone mentioned about 3-year-general programs, they do not seem to offer enough training, 4th year courses are very specific (at least this is the case for the University of Waterloo, it gets to the point where they do not force you to do a specific 4th year course, as long as you have a certain number of them). Those are sometimes even career-oriented, or might help you to go to graduate school, etc... University of Waterloo, Honours Mathematics, Regular
