While I haven't actually been in Alumni, they were very spirited this past year. So hopefully that will carry through to this year.

I say this to everyone because it's true: get involved with the events and your floor and you will love it. The people (including you) are what determines how positive your experience is, so just don't be afraid to approach people and say hi or plan floor get togethers, etc. The small size of Alumni can be a great thing because you can get to know most of the residents, but this also means a smaller pool of potential friends in rez. But you can find like-minded people in clubs and classes anyway so it's not a big deal if you don't connect with a ton of people in rez.
