For computer science course selection, what is the section code?

I'm guessing these are the courses I need to take in the first year:
(CSC108H1, CSC148H1)/CSC150H1, CSC165H1/CSC240H1; (MAT135H1, MAT136H1)/MAT137Y1/MAT157Y1
do I take all of them? or select which ones to take?

Also, for some reason I can't activate UT mail. is it normal?

Good luck getting into courses if you haven't already enrolled in them... For first year cs students, take csc108, 148, 165 and Mat135+136 unless you woud rather take the advanced versions.

Probably should have logged on earlier today. The cs and math classes still have plenty of space but it'll be probably be tougher to get into the electives that you want. I got final admission last week, are you still waiting?

Nobody answered how to find the section code. I'm still trying to find them. I am going for physiology.

I found what section codes are.

F = first term ("Fall Session" - September to December)
S = second term ("Winter Session" - January to April)
Y = full academic year (September to April)

CSC108H1 F - Intro to Comp Prog

CSC148H1 F - Intro to Comp Sci

CSC165H1 F - Math Expr&Rsng for Cs

MAT135H1 F - Calculus I (A)

MAT136H1 F - Calculus I (B)

do i need to do something about the courses i will be taking in the 2nd term?

There are prerequisites to certain courses. CSC148H1's prerequisite is CSC108H1 therefore you can not take CSC148H1 with CSC108H1 as you haven't completed CSC108H1 yet. Same thing goes to MAT136H1; you have to complete MAT135H1F first in order to take MAT136H1.

By the way, did you do your research about course selection prior to July 30?

You should be taking csc148H1S and Mat136H1S... What are you going to take to complete your breadth requirements?

First Sem-csc108H1F, Mat135H1F, csc165 either semester and electives that you can use towards your breadth requirements
How did you not know any of this prior to course selection? lol
