Of course. Depending on the area, there are many stores and restaurants around campus. You may even be able to work for the university in their restaurants or doing something like janitorial work.

I think the best thing to do if you need help finding a job is to get involved with your local community! Speaking from experience, I found that when you go for interviews, employers love to hear about volunteer work over the places you've worked before. Apply for jobs regularly and don't get discouraged! Usually, there are jobs fairs you can attend. Have some faith!

I've been constantly applying for jobs everywhere, and I haven't gotten any replies back. Does anybody have any suggestions?

uggggh, ive applied to tons of jobs over the past year... it sucks trying to get your first job ! and i need to save up for university !
tell me how i can better my chances !

Where have you been applying?

What does your resume look like?

Do you ask to see the manager when you hand in your resume?

Do you call the manager after wards to thank them for reading your application?
