I got in! That's everywhere in Canada now...just have to wait a week for the rest :/ Idk how though, I didn't think I would get into Trin. I mean I barely got the supp app in...I wrote it the night before, but like an hour before noon something happened and it all got deleted and i had to write the whole thing over again in 30 mins, run to the public library (of course the school computers restrict the application site), convince them to let me on the computer because i didn't have my library card, wait for the old computer to load the site and FINALLY send it in at like 11:53 the day it was due at 12. whew. long sentence. Perpetually hungry.

Hey guys. I just got into UC Berkeley today so I will most likely be attending there if all the Ivies reject me in a week or so (which is very possible). So there's another spot open at UTSG now. Good luck guys! **Shields** Accepted: University of Toronto: Social Sciences + Vic One (Pearson Stream) Carleton University: Honours Science University of British Columbia: Arts

Is it possible for an engineering student to go to Trinity College? I'm pretty worried that I might not be able to go unless I accept my life science offer! Life Science Trinity College Class of 2015

Engineering students may attend Trinity college, just as they may attend the other colleges. Accepted to Trinity College at the University of Toronto (Humanities)

Yep! I was dead set on it from the start. Funny thing is, all of the other people in my school who applied to Trin switched after finding out about either the supp app or the gowns. University of Toronto, Trinity College International Relations 1T5

I like the gown but not the stupid hall rules and "customary" behaviour. I find that stuff to be crap. The supp app wasn't that bad, nothing i'd ever normally write but it was ok...better than last years IMO. University of Toronto (Trinity College) 2015

I enjoyed the supplemental application, and half the reason I picked Trin was for the gowns Accepted to Trinity College at the University of Toronto (Humanities)

I didn't see anything special about it over the other colleges. Anything offered at Trinity is offered at most other colleges as well. The opportunity for scholarships and money is higher at other colleges. I knew I was going to major in Engineering or Science so I picked New College as my first choice and University College as my second choice. Anything else would have been very inconvenient. Did I miss out on something? What is the appeal of Trinity? Trinity has relatively vigorous academic standards compared to the other colleges which contribute to a forming a closely-knit community within a much larger and more anonymous university. More students at Trinity graduate with distinction/ high distinction honours than at the other colleges, it has produced a huge amount of Rhodes scholars, and a great deal of Trinity's graduates go on to post-graduate studies. These (arguably significant) factors contribute to making Trinity a distinctly academic community within the U of T. One of the significant reasons I chose Trinity was for the college sanctioned activities and groups, such as the Trinity College Literary Insitute, Trinity College Dramatic Society, and interesting clubs (including the Debate Union). All of these things, along with the traditions such as wearing robes to dinner, contribute to a sense of college solidarity which seemed to me very desirable in a much larger university setting and within Canada's largest city. Accepted to Trinity College at the University of Toronto (Humanities)
