if you are looking for a job... try HRDC or visit the CAVE youth employment ..they are located by metrotown and help you make a resume, find a job and notify you about job fairs

Some of the scholarships offer work palcement opporunities if you get them like there was one through TD Bank and it also had a job offer with it if you got it but I don't think many have that set up.

So the basic outline of a resume has to be short and sweet?
Also, when giving the resume, should I ask for the manager? Because apparently it would be a better way of actually getting him or her to look at it.

Its extremely hard to find jobs online (for me anyways). Your best bet is to look around your city drop off resumes; if you know someone at an employer ask them if there is any jobs open (that is how I got mine).
If you can't find any, create a small business (babysitting dog sitting, newspaper rounte) kidish I know but I know a lot of people in their teens in adult still do it.

As for full time jobs, I can't help you with that :S
