I am currently attending Carleton University in my second year of the Child Studies Honours program. In five years I will be hopefully be graduating with my Masters from the Youth and Child Studies program at Brock University. From there, the sky is the limit. I have so many plans for the next 10 years that I wish to accomplish that it may be an unrealistic goal. After graduating from Brock I wish to receive my Play Therapy credentials and work with children from developing countries that may be experiencing or escaping conflict or some other challenge in their lives that us living in industrialized countries would never have to face. I also wish to participate in some type of peace keeping mission, offering special help to children in these struggling countries.

In 5 years: I will either be working on my Master's Degree, or working for a human rights organization
In 10 years: I hope to be settled into a long-term career at a human rights organization, or other non-profit

In ten years, I will be: Working, travelling, volunteering and getting involved in international development.

Right now I am: In high school, studying art and science
In five years: Finishing a bachelor's of environmental science, with a minor in archaeology (and probably losing my mind from the stress)
In ten years: In a dead end job. Actually, I plan to be a scientific illustrator, but you can never tell with these things.

Right now I am College/Working.
In five years, I will be working with Autistic and Behavioural children in the
education system, in Ontario.
In ten years, I will be working for the Autism Ontario, still learning different techniques and ways that would help Autistic people deal with different situations that they are put in and make them feel more comfortable.

When I grow up, I want to work within a Human Resources department! I am currently in my 2nd/last year of college and I am taking General Arts and Science at Algonquin College because for a few years I was uncertain with my path.
I knew I always wanted to work with people so I tried ou Child and Youth work. After a few semesters, it was evident that you needed to be able to "not bring home with you" but I didn't feel like that was for me. I want to do something to help others, and Human Resources Management is a great way to do so without the implications of taking work home/ not letting your career affect your personal life! Life can be stressful enough !! Upon graduation, I hope to get into York University to pursue this path and I am very optimistic about it!

Right now I am at Simon Fraser University studying kinesiology.
In five years, I will be graduating from physiotherapy school.
In ten years, I will be living my dream of opening my own physiotherapy clinic in Vancouver.

When I grow up, I would like to be a successful Interior Designer. I am currently enrolled in my first year of studies at the Ontario College of Arts and Design University. On my first day of classes, two of my professors warned us that for those of us that expected to become Interior Designers, only 20% of us were actually going to do so. I believe that I am part of that percentile. There is no other profession that I am as strongly passionate about or want to have a career in than Interior Design!
It would be a dream come true if I can call myself an Interior Designer in the future, although getting to that position, every dollar counts. With all the art supplies and materials we art students need, any chance of winning money helps!! As hard as school is, being able to afford going to school is difficult too.
Hopefully I’ll be answering people’s questions and showing off my designs at the Interior Design Show in the near future!! Fingers crossed!!

In 5 years I will be finishing the Teacher's Education Program for elementary at the University of the Fraser Valley

Right now: I am in my senior year of high school (YEEESSS!)  In 5 years: I should be finishing my Bachelor of Interior Design (hopefully at Ryerson University) or I will be working as a junior designer at a design firm. In 10 years: In ten years, I will have taken the NCIDQ exam and become a certified interior designer. I will still be working at a design firm.  :D

Right now I am in my grade 11 year, planning for college  In 5 years I see myself studying at The Art Institute of Vancouver in the Interior Design program. In 10 years I see myself a successful independant women working in Interior Design, and I'm darn good at what I do! Travelled to Austraila already..

Right now I am in University at UBC
In five years I will hope to be either completed or almost completed my degree at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine
In 10 years I hope to be running my own Naturopathic practise where I can help people achieve their optimal health naturally!

Right Now : At the moment I am a normal grade eleven teenager who is frantically worrying about the results of her exams, the confusing decision of what courses I will be taken next year ( I have way too many to choose from), my bad procrastination habits, and lastly what to wear to school tomorrow. In five years : In five years I hope to be in my last year in an undergraduate program for biomedical health sciences at McGill University. I hope to be giving my MCATs soon, and deciding (hopefully) what to wear to my interview for Medical School. In ten years : I would like to see myself graduated from medical school from McGill University ( assuming I endure the strenuous journey) and work my way to becoming an OB/GYN or obstetrician, gynecologist. I am also hoping to make some progress with my list that I have started now, but it's blank at the moment, titled, " The Number of Babies I Helped Give Birth to ! " One of my dreams in life is to deliver over a 1000 babies, and hopefully this list will be an apt way for me to keep track. Thanks ! - Meera
