So weird, a lot of my friends and I got in without submitting the AIF yet. Got into mech without crazy marks and my friend got into nano with like the same marks as well. Maybe being in a non-semestered school helps ? There is still 60% left for me and other people, so hopefully we will get in Though it seems like most of you guys are at mid 90s, my mark is only like mid-high 80s Is our year more competitive than the previous years?
My friend got into ECE with an 88-89 average. Anyone accepted to civil? Seems like one of the less popular programs around here. University of Waterloo: Systems Design Engineering Class of 2017

Uhm to those who were wondering, my friends and i go to non-semestered. Only final marks right now are 12 Functions. Not exactly sure how UW calculated our averages but i'm imagining it would be in the 87.7+ range at least. Applied to software engineering, I didn't submit the aif until the 18th of Feb, but if they seems some still got in without it. I think my aif was strong but there is still lots of acceptances left so hopefully I'll make it. Could they be waiting on my performance in computer science? Also, does waterloo care if I applied to other waterloo programs too? I've already been accepted for computing and financial management but I'm sure it will work out, thanks University of Waterloo: Software Engineering (Co-op only) (COOP) Accepted McMaster University: Engineering I (Co-op) (COOP)Accepted McMaster University: Arts & Science I Waiting The University of Western Ontario: Engineering Accepted University of Waterloo: Computing and Financial Management (Co-op only) (COOP) Accepted York University: Engineering-Space Engineering (BASc) Accepted

They might be waiting to see your mid term mark (if you are is a semester school). I highly doubt that they care whether you apply for other programs. In fact, i think they would prefer it because it shows your intrest in their university. Congrats on your other acceptances.
