Hey, did anyone on this forum take a course in Private school?

I heard the mark taken in private school may be penalized by there isn't a defined amount.
Could someone please comment?

No, I haven't, but I have taken a grade 11 course online and a grade 12 course in summer school.

I don't think it should matter as long as the school is accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education. However, since you are applying to the Faculty of Mathematics, they sometimes adjust your overall admission score (I believe), but there's no indication about how much, as it's probably on an individual basis. It shouldn't greatly impact anything.

I changed my application on OUAC from mechatronics to chemical in late Feb. Although on Quest it says that my application to mechatronics was withdrawn, and I've received no offer via email, it appeared that they had already offered me admission to mechatronics prior to that change. I found out after I received the admission package... My average from first semester was 97%. Unfortunately I have to wait til May for my chemical eng. application to be considered. :(

May I ask which program you were accepted into?
I'm surprised that they're sending out acceptances now, seeing as there are only a couple of weeks left before the second set of marks go in. It would make sense for them to wait a little longer just to see those.

Hey, I have a question for the people that received acceptances to software engineering. What were the conditions stated in the offer of admission? Thanks.

Does anyone know if they weigh all prerequisites the same when making decisions because I messed up on chemistry. My other marks are above average though. So, maybe they wouldn't count chemistry as much because comp engineering doesn't involve ALOT of chemistry?
