Hey, so I got accepted to my second choice, the Faculty of Arts. When I self-reported, I forgot to put in a mark, so my Desautels application status is a "Pending, Needs Further Review." My Top 5 average is 92.8, do you guys think I will get in?

is anyone still waiting for their acceptance? i have been "ready for review" since march. my average is above the cutoff and i have no idea what's taking so long. anyone else in the same situation?

Yes, I have the same problem! Mine has said "ready for review" since my marks were received, which was months ago! On this forum there are people with averages lower than mine who have already been accepted. I am wondering if it is because they are from Quebec, and I'm not? I think I am going to call the school to ensure that there is nothing wrong with my application!

It might be a good idea to call McGill and ask what's happening or when we can expect acceptances/rejections to come. Let us know what they say ok? I'll probably call too if I still hear nothing in a day or two. Best of luck to us both!

Yeah, my application status is still at "Reviewed- Decision Pending." I'm guessing the decision is coming out soon since according to the site, I think the 18th is the last official day for sending out invites in Canada (I may be wrong). I have been accepted to my second choice already, but I am still waiting on Desautels. Are any of you also having this problem?
EDIT: I'm from B.C. by the way.

I called McGill yesterday, and they said that I shouldn't worry about it. I asked if all offers will be out by May 18th, and she said that they won't, because the program is so competitive and there are so many applications to look at. She wouldn't give me a date when I can expect to hear by, but she looked at my application and said that everything was fine with it. I would assume that everyone who still says "ready for review" is in the same situation, but if you are worried I would call and make sure that they have all the required documents. Hope this helps!
And yes, I am from Ontario.

Hey, for all of you on the Waitlist, do you guys think that the offers will come this week? June 1st is approaching rather quickly, and most offers expire on that day (this Friday).

We would accept the McGill alternate offer? That does not forfeit our waitlist? If we are accepted after having paid the $300 fee for the alternate, will we have to pay it again?

[/quote] No. I meant our alternate offer at another university. Accepting an offer at another faculty at Mcgill will automatically rescind your applications to other programs. Sorry for the confusion!

Okay! That's what I thought! I was thinking, if we accept an offer at another university and pay the fee, are we allowed to reject it after to accept McGill's (if accepted)?
