Found UFE pass rate stuff.

From laurier website :

"Since 1993, Laurier's accounting grads have won more UFE medals than any other university in Canada."

"Laurier Grads Excel in Chartered Accounting Uniform Final Exams
Since 1993, Laurier School of Business & Economics accounting graduates have won more Canadian Gold Medals and more Ontario Gold Medals than any other university in Canada in the Canada-wide Uniform Final Examination for chartered accountants, considered one of world's most difficult professional exams. Sarah Hadley, a 2001 Honours Bachelor of Business Administration graduate scored a perfect 300 on the 2002 UFE. "

Doesn't mean they have the highest pass rate. They do typically dominate the Gold Medal/honour roll (although Waterloo has the past 2 gold medal winners and have a bunch on the honour roll this year I think :P), and the last time it was reported they had the 3rd highest pass rate (really 2nd because QC/Schulich were tied for first). It wouldn't surprise me if they had the highest pass rate (you said that's what they claimed at the presentation), although I would say it's better to assume that they just have a "really high pass rate." Anyways, UFE training is done by your employer.
