What qualities do nerdy boys like in girls? Personally, nerdy boys are incredibly cute and endearing however, most of them are shy and give mixed signals. On the other hand, other guys are fairly straight forward with their feelings. Anyway, if possible, I'd be interested with your opinions on this question. PS. Sex is not an answer. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor and catch the trade winds in your sails.

There are different types of "nerdy guys" and they don't all like the same things in girls. Everyone's different, so if you're looking for responses here, you're probably going to get some contradicting answers lol University of Waterloo '17 Software Engineering

This is probably the toughest way to do this, but likely the best. Just ask the nerdy guy(s) in question what he/they like in a girl. You'll get your answer for future reference and make your intentions known. Win win for you!

I would think they would like girls who are similar to themselves...maybe, I don't know. I'm kinda a hypocrite tho cause I always fall for the jerks, lol University of Waterloo Geological Engineering 2017

They like it when you take lead. They're giving mixed signals because in most cases, they're too socially anxious to flirt with you/pursue any form of relationship on their own.

From my observations and experiences, I have come up with the conclusion that there are basically two types of guys, wise guys and unwise guys.
A wise guy would fall in love with a girl if he feels that: - she is attractive/cute (only 50% of what he looks at) and - she has a good personality; polite, positive, cheerful, etc
And an unwise guy would in fall in love if he feels that: - she is attractive/cute (100% of what he looks at)
Generally speaking nerdy guys would fall under the first (wise) category.
Note that I said feels in my explanations because whether a girl is attractive or has a good personality is an opinion and thus changes as time goes by.
Hope that helps :p

I consider myself a 'nerdy' guy. I look for girls who are trusting, generous, wealthy and close to death.

I think nerdy guys like someone who does well in school, someone who they can pass time with talking about life, everyday topics like things in the news, TV shows, music, play a game of Scrabble with them, a few video games on Wii, and someone who they can laugh with. Guys like this like it when girls take the effort to talk to them, and when the conversation can run naturally and smoothly - it shouldn't feel forced. Any girl that is friendly will likely make them happy. I agree with the poster above who said that they would just want a girl who they are comfortable with and can be themselves with that person. heesoup wrote:Nerdy guys probably like girls who can game with them :) This may have been a joke, but it's absolutely true, literally and figuratively. A nerdy guy doesn't want a girl with whom they cannot share interests. If a nerdy guy enjoys gaming, he will love for a girl to game with him. If he likes watching Sherlock and Doctor Who, he will be drawn to fans of the same programs. Personally, I like girls who allow me to be adventurous - no, you gutter-minded people, that is not what I mean. I love to go exploring, or to meet new people; to do new things, but I would never do those things on my own. I need a friend - yes, nerd guys want to be your friend, too - to get me out of my shell; someone to impress; someone to perform for and with. I think I've gotten off topic. A nerdy guy - in my opinion - doesn't want to have to choose between his love and his interests: he wants to keep both, and, if possible, have them be intertwined. Therefore ladies, if you are looking for a nerdy guy, read up on Asimov, play some Mass Effect, watch Lord of the Rings, and attend your local Comic Con. If you enjoy yourself, a nerd may be just what you're looking for. St. Francis Xavier - Humanities Colloquium

We don't like nerdy girls. Not me atleast.
I have mid 90's average, but I'm pretty social (to a degree) and I can't stand girls that are super closed.
As long as the girl isn't dumb (but no smarter) than she's fine. And she has to be pretty or atleast cute.
It depends though. Is he a good looking nerd with good grades and is able to hold a conversation? Or is he a hermit nerd?
