But he has something like 8 grade 12 courses finished already because he fast-tracked and took two courses in the summer as well. Accepted to: 1. i got in too! question though: if you dont get an entrance scholarship with your acceptance, is there no chance it will be updated? i applied for a major one, but only in the hopes that they would pity me and give me a basic (instead of nothing...)

I don't think it updates. My friend applied for a major one too. His major one is still pending but he was notified that he got an entrance scholarship. Accepted to: 1. I think what deterred me was my grade 11 average -- it was 85%. I never should have taken chem and physics last year. Without these courses, it would've been at 91-92. Maybe I'd be in right now.

don't worry you'll get in eventually. I had crappy grade 11 marks too. but the good news is that they dont look at ur grade 11 mark. The mcGill lady said it was only for scholarships. Their admission timing is totally random. My friend who applied later with lower grade got in a week before I did. with 93% arts, how can McGill NOT accept u? :p

sigh. im so jealous of you guys. one question! i'm not doing early admissions. i'm applying for regular admissions (sciences) but I won't be able to submit my marks in until a week before the deadline because i still have online course work to finish :( my average is probably going to be between 92 & 93. do you think applying so late will decrease my chances of getting in? your opinion would really be appreciated :D

And imaklutzzz, I don't think it'll decrease your chances... Maybe it'll just delay your acceptance? I'm not entirely sure though.
