I don't know much about the UOttawa, but I applied to Laurier for Psych. I heard good things such as the teaching is a little intimate than other uni's because of size of population, but that's all I know.
Some psych grads said they enjoyed Laurier, and a couple said they were jealous of their friends who went there because they seemed all happy lol.
I'm sure Ottawa is great too :)
