So I got a Call today from my Ryerson , they said that their records shows I have an Incomplete OSSD?? They told me to call my Guidance Counselor to talk about the situation. I tried calling them several time but no one picked up. I know I have enough credits, I looked at my credit Summary Sheet from my last Report Card and it shows I have earned 30 Credits, 60 community hrs, finished my OSLT, But Ryerson is saying my OSSD is Incomplete. I have until the 24 of this month to resolve the problem, but I'm kinda freaking out cause I called today and no one picked up what if no one is working over the summer :/
What should I do?

did the person from Ryerson specfically say which part of you're OSSD is incomplete? otherwise besides emailing or calling, you should go there...there should be the summer staff or someone there since most highschools are in the process of finishing upgrading classes and preparing for the new school year/orientation for the new students Free Publicity? I called the TDSB and they said school won't be open till the 20th. Do you guys think it's enough time for my school to send OUAC the updated info since my deadline is the 24, i'm not sure if it will process in time :/

I'm sure it can be done.

What should I do? Ha your lucky.. I can give you some advice because I went through the exact same process. Does your official report card say your graduated? If so bring, it to ouac personally and have them update it. OR request a transcript from tdsb and tell them to fax it to ouac( they did this for me and ouac updated my graduation the same day) NOTE: Transcript requests take 2 weeks for tdsb, you can try to ask them to get it for you earlier BUT chances are your actually missing something to be graduated because it is highly unlikely that they reported your final term grades but not your graduation, since it should automatically graduate you. Your most likely going to have to victory lap.

What should I do? Also 30 credits does not mean you graduate, you have to fulfill all the group requirements or whatever they are.

I'm missing a French credit, but the reason for why I'm missing it was because in grade 9 I was never given the french course instead my school gave me another course that was supposed to cover for my french credit, because I had a IEP at that time.

OR you can apply for college right and be accepted without an OSSD if you will be 19 before the first day of class starts.

I really don't want to come back for a 5th year my parents would be disappointed in me if i had to. I guess what I have to do is talk to my guidance counselor and sort the whole thing out with the grade 9 credit that was supposed to replace my french credit. If my guidance counselor fixes the problem will ouac be able to update my info by the 24th, because I can only see my counselor on the 20th? But If it doesn't work out then I guess I have to come back for a 5th year :/

I don't think the replaced course was meant for replacing the french course in the sense that it would be counted as completing one of the prerequisites. You learned the mistake the hard way, if you double checked earlier you could have done the course in summer school and been on time for the deadline. I can't lecture you on this because I wasted 600 bucks outta my parents pocket doing the exact same thing even though I was already victory lapping. Either way at least you'll learn a life lesson I geuss.

You can indeed be exempt from French if you have an IEP. They can substitute another subject with the Principal's permission. Someone likely screwed up and didn't fill in paperwork. Call the Principal or Vice-Principal in the morning and explain-they should get the ball rolling in guidance ASAP to fix what is their clerical error. Call Ryerson and explain, so they know you are working n it. Good luck!

If you can't get in contact with guidance on the phone tomorrow, then talk to someone in admin. If the school isn't open, call the board office and ask the area Superindendant for advice. You don't want to risk delaying this, because it's going to take time for it to be corrected and for Ryerson to get the update.
