Now that I've got your attention,

Where does Student Awards rank Toronto, as a city, in the world of corporate finance?

I'm not suggesting any of you are going to work in Toronto, I know better than to think that you'll end up anywhere other than New York, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

What does investment banking even mean again?

Toronto is the financial city of Canada, but compared to New York, London, Frankfurt, HK etc, it is quite small in terms of size especially for IB.

If you really want to find out what investment banking is and all the relevant topics, I suggest this: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=investment+banking

But in all seriousness, go read everything on WSJ, Mergers & A, WSO and you should get a glimpse of what IB is and all that comes with it.

Once you start posting about investment banking, you know it's time to graduate from Student Awards. The vast majority of information all of us know is regurgitated from the Internet/second hand experience.

This was an attempt to mock those who believe they're going to end up on Wall Street.

You guys are all too nice though.

I'm already on WSO and QuantNet, they're cool.

M&I is like 70% ads... the best thing from that site is their resume template. And the trolls make WSO soooo much better, haha.
