if i'm victory lapping (back for grade 13 this year) until june and i've applied to college for the fall, is that considered "enrolled" in college? or does enrolled just mean you're actually currently attending university or college?

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I graduated last year and am taking a year off to work and travel. I'm currently accepted at a University for fall '11 but I'm not sure if that counts as enrolled either. :/ I've been applying to scholarships and just assuming/hoping that it does. I figure better to try than to ignore them but I would appreciate some insight as well!
