In terms of difficulty, how hard is Genetics (BIO2133) and Biochemistry (BCH2333) at the University of Ottawa

The Genetics course was relatively easy. Half the course a review of basic Mendelian genetics which you may have covered briefly in high school. If you're comfortable with basic probabilities and logic, you should do really well.

I wish I could say the same about Intro. to Biochemistry. This class was definitely one of the most challenging classes one will take in his/her early years as an undergrad. The main difficulty lies in the volume of material covered. If you stay on top of things, review the material regularly, and do well on the labs, you should be OK. This is not an easy A class, and it requires a lot of dedication.
