You get a job in that field, or you go to school and the professors will have connections in the field they're teaching.

Does anyone know about legit work at home jobs? I wouldn't mind doing something on the computer.

Don't stop trying! All the jobs I got were from the places I least expected.

There aren't any, except for very few surveys websites.

The links are a somewhat good idea, but monster.ca hasn't really worked for me. The best thing to probably do is to go around and leave your resume at places in your neighborhood.

Asking your instructors about any job opportunities that will help you with your career will allow you to find a job.

While the job search engines are good, I find it's better to go in person and actually meet the manager of the store/company you're applying to. Better yet, use your connections. Do you have family or friends that could hook you up? That's the best way to get into the job market.

You don't really get a lot from those surveys, anyway. I did them for about 6 months and only got $100 or so.

Volunteer work is definitely key. That is what will be the difference between you getting or not getting the job

It's also a good idea to go job hunting during seasonal times , such as christmas , because lots of companies are looking to hire more temporary workers . This will allow you to make some quick cash in a week or two , and it will also look good on your resume . If you have any intentions of RETURNING to the job, let your employer know so they will take note . This way , you may possibly have an advantage over other peers when "re-applying" for the job , since you've already know what the 411 is .

Just what I think =]

I think the best way is to find something that your interested in and know a lot about it. Do your research and they will be impressed about how much you know and how much you care.

exactly, network and distribute HARD. there will always be something, it just takes perseverance and patience. but also make sure you prepare for interviews and such, because those can be deal breakers..
