Email messages may also invite users to take advantage of various promotions, complete surveys, etc. that also allow our awards search service to be provided free of charge. We gather the email addresses of users who voluntarily opt-in during our registration process. Users have the ability to comment and post messages publically on the studentawards.com website. All posted information must abide by Studentawards Inc. Terms of Use. By submitting comments and posts, users grant Studentawards Inc. non-exclusive right to use that content royalty-free. There are cases where Studentawards Inc. asks for personal information such as name, email address, and birth date. For example, we request personal information when you register for studentawards.com. Studentawards Inc. uses this information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience on our web site, whether to match users with scholarships, bursary and grant information, to notify users of new awards that have been added to the database, to provide interactive or personalized elements or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users. This information allows our sponsors to promote more effectively, and allows our users to receive advertisements that are pertinent to their needs. Studentawards Inc. does not control the practices of our advertisers, sponsors or third party marketers.
Studentawards Inc. also provides members with email notification of online surveys that are conducted periodically, either for internal purposes or on behalf of bona fide third parties.
