How Do I Prepare to Study Chemistry at University? (2)

By Sylvain Robert

To study in chemistry at the university level, it is quite simple. The student must be prepared to study and work. Chemistry involves a lot of math as well as chemistry to understand complex fundamental concepts. The laboratory works requires dexterity as well as a good sense observation. But the end result is extremely rewarding as chemistry is the science of matter, and understanding chemistry means understanding how and why things work, grow and even live.

Sylvain Robert, Chemistry-Biology Department, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, and 3M National Teaching Fellow.
