Exams & Memorization: Visual Learners

By Studentawards

  • I find it easier to memorize something if I make a quirky little acronym to help with the words. (Posted by: Bearie)

  • Usually to memorize things I write them out in a specific order. Since I am a visual learner, my brain memorizes the page as a picture. It comes in handy when trying to recall information on tests. I just think of what page it's on and try to visualize where everything is. It also helps to read and re-read both quietly and outloud. If you write, read and hear the information you are most likely to remember it. Also, I find it helps studying with a person. When they quiz you and you mess up you might remember how they corrected you or the joke they made. (Posted by: mackness)
