Hi, im just wondering what are my chances of getting into mac life sci with these marks Chem-91 Bio-85 adv.functions-85 kines-90 food&nutrition-96 english-73 Average: 86.666667% im just really stressed and want to know my chances UWO- Bio med [Pending]
Mac- Life Sci [Rejected]
Guelph- Bio med[Accepted]
UWO- Health Sci [Accepted]
Laurier- Health Sci[Accepted]

I heard the cut off this year was +88% But who knows, you might get an acceptance at the very end of May. If you do get accepted, be aware that you have to maintain a final top six of 85%, which includes all prerequisite courses. McMaster Arts and Science, Class of 2016

The cut-off for Western BioMed in previous years has been around 85-86% You're in the ballpark for acceptance, but it might come a little later, just like Mac Life Sci. Also, if you do get accepted, you have to maintain an 84% top six including some prerequisites (Actually I just realized, I'm assuming you're from Ontario, which I am, so these are Ontario's averages fyi) McMaster Arts and Science, Class of 2016

While I believe you stand a good chance of being accepted into biomed, the cutoff for Mac life sci this year is an 89%. I do not think you will be accepted unfortunately; there are so many people who applied for this program, which has driven up the acceptance average. However, you might be waitlisted until after you finals. If you have an 89%, then contact Mac and see what they say. UWO: Nursing Class of 2016!

I applied to mcmasters for life science as well. I have 85.8% average for mcmaster. I hope we both get in  . Though on the mcmaster website it says the anticipated cutoff is 83-86% for this year.
