I haven't been accepted either. My average is an exact 80% and my English mark is a 76%. I read in some other posts that Ryerson looks for high marks in English? The other day my guidance counselor told me that Ryerson is behind schedule? I think they only gave out early acceptances for the program so far based on your grade 11 average. I don't think it's too late so I'm sure we'll hear something this week!!

I haven't heard anything either. Are they actually behind? I have an 80 average too, I thought I was done because I had a 68 in English but then I contacted Ryerson and they thankfully said they consider Writer's Craft as an english mark.

I haven't heard from Ryerson yet either. Thinking of accepting one of my other offers. If this is the way they handle things administratively, I don't think I belong there!!!NOT Cool

Good luck next year!

Yeah, it's just frustrating because I'd be moving from Ottawa and I'd really like to get a head on planning where I'm going to be living, but I can't do that if I haven't been accepted!!!

Hey, I got accepted to Ryerson's Social Work program in December. I've accepted York's offer. Anyways on my offer of admission they look for an 80% overall average with at least a 77% in English. Hope that helped.

Same here, but the more I read about Carleton's program, the more convinced I am that I will accept it their offer. It looks like a great program and very established with lots of practicum opportunities and global volunteer opportunities as well. I have a tour booked there for tomorrow and then I will decided. I've got to apply for rez.......wherever I go!

I've met Ryerson's academic requirements for acceptance for grade 11 and grade 12 marks, so I don't know what's going on with them.

Good luck next year at York :)

Clearly they don't but that's ok. I think I would rather go to Carleton anyway :)

Hey I already chose my courses for York's social work program, so I can help. On my MyFIle under the tab "book/manage my enrollment appointment" click on that. Then choose your program if you applied to note than one at York. Then choose the date. Spaces fill up very quickly so I'm not sure when the next time available is, most likely it will be in the summer.

You have to pay online through your bank. And after you enroll in courses, you have 5 days to pay it, and it takes 4 days to pay online to reach York, so either you pay right after your enrollment appointment or before, which I did, about 3 days before, as long as you actually book an appointment and know that you're going to York. You have to attend the enrollment appointment directly at York unless you're very far, like an international student.
