A Key Resource for First Year University Students

A website that students cannot do without: the website that contains the professor's notes, assignments, and fellow students' conversations for the course they are currently taking! I'm serious. I am absolutely comfortable giving my students my lecture notes before lectures---it has no visible effect on lecture attendance and it gives me the opportunity to extemporize or explain things more fully during the actual lecture. I don't have to wait for them to write everything down as most students these days seem to want to do.
