IDK if my references were contacted, but I know two friends who had their references contacted 2 days ago. It's so weird how they copy paste your entire essay to your contacts. I'm sure lots of ppl exaggerate to sell themselves on their essays; that wud be awkward, even if the activities described were true LOL Queen's University '16

activity #1 - ebay business venture, created my own way of drop shipping and made $3000+ profit and hired 2 employees activity #2 - president and co-founder of a club with 80+ members that goes around doing charity events and getting volunteer hours activity #3 - host and music head of church coffeehouse with 70 attendants. I hope i get in :S ivey is my first choice Queen's School of Business

I also started an online ebay business venture where I buy and sell, made over 10k in profits. Didnt mention this on my ivey app tho, focused on more community based stuff. Queen's University '16

@cliffhanger, i managed to find a wholesaler in asia that could sell me items in bulk for cheap. i auctioned the hypothetical items on ebay and when i have a buyer i would tell my wholesaler to ship it directly to the buyer. this made me a ton of money in between. i emphasized the leadership and initiative part of searching for wholesaler and hiring employees to help me expand. @budsfan94, last year first round was april 1st, but mostly for people with a competitive completed top 6 average Queen's School of Business

lol mine was sorta random. :P i wrote about when i went against my rents' advice and auditioned for a large acting agency - Robert Powers - if anyone has heard of it. Then about how to my family (and mine)'s surprise, they called back the next day and offered me a contract. needless to say my rents said no and wtf in the same sentence :P -_-' . ^i talked about that, and how i've learned to try new things, follow dreams, and not give up after this set back -blah blah -- on a separate note: -when uni comes,i know what i'm gonna try my luck with again hbu guys? lol i talked about how during my brown belt testing i was only 13 years old and everyone else already dropped out and i persevered through the 3 hour testing and how the sensei's were surprised that i could make it. there was only myself and a 19 year old at the ceremony. i made it sound dramatic though :P Queen's School of Business

I had a similar dramatic experience with my black belt testing except it was Taekwondo and the only other person who was there was significantly younger than me. :p Applied to:
