Hi everyone :)
So, i've recently been accepted into Criminology at York.

BUT i'm still waiting on Humanities (arts) at UofT & Criminal Justice at Ryerson & a few others.

But, i was wondering, should i get into Criminal Justice and/or Humanitites, WHAT SHOULD I GO FOR ? Becasue right now, i am aiming towards Criminalogy at York. But if i get into the other 2, which one should i choose ? I seem to like the Criminalogy program better, but i don't want to go to York. I'd rather be in downtown, toronto.

I'm soooo confused. Anything that helps will be highly appreciated!

Oh and i really don't know about the future, but right now i'm hoping to go into the field of LAW

Right now my average is an 85%
Individuals and Families - 90
International Business - 91
Law - 73 - WORST. TEACHER. EVER.

I can maintain this average but i might be able to pull it up to a high 80 as well!

Save money. It's an undergrad social sciences degree. Go to an easier undergrad school. Seriously just do it if your goal is law school. I assume you live in Toronto. I would suggest York.

if you're considering going to law school (maybe i'll see you there, hehehehe~ :3) , then i'd suggest going to UofT or for another program that has nothing to do with the legal field . because you're already taking a law course , you know that law interests you , so there's really no point in getting an undergrad for it because you have to relearn everything in law school ... plus i've heard that it doesn't necessarily give you an advantage in writing the LSAT :\ , so you might as well learn something else totally different in the meanwhile , right ? :P

however if those three are still your top choices but you're having trouble choosing between them ... check them all out in person , even if you're not going to be living on residence ! seeing the campuses myself helped me to make a decision (: , especially when i saw UofT ... it's soooooo huge ! >.<; even if it is in the heart of the city , for the next four or five years , do you want to run around such a huge place getting to your classes ? o;

anyway, regardless of what you choose to do ... i hope it works out in the end~ :D , and congrats on your acceptance ! (:

Common misconception. Nothing prepares you for law school or how to be a lawyer. Everything you need to know will be taught to you in law school. In undergrad take something you're interested in and can therefore get good grades.
