Also, for the nursing hopefuls-- why did you choose to be a nurse? Is it for financial reasons, etc.,? Additionally, for those going into med school to be a doctor-- why did you become a doctor? Is it better to be a doctor than to be a nurse? So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor and catch the trade winds in your sails.

You can google definitions of what a doctor does and what a nurse does. Keep in mind there are different types of doctors and different types of nurses. Doctors spend a very long time in school compared to nurses. It is very difficult to get into medical school. Doctors make much more money... that being said nurses are equally as important. Nurses do all of the doctor's dirty work and oftentimes get harassed by patients that are perverted old men. They get terrible shifts that often start at 11 pm and go on for longer than 8 hours.
"What is the difference between a nurse and a doctor?" <- That is one of the funniest questions I have ever heard someone ask. It's like asking, "What is the difference between a janitor and a principal?"
Nursing is for people who can not make it to medical school.

Nursing is for people who can not make it to medical school. You're clearly going to be one of those arrogant pre-med students that will talk trash about other health care professions. People like you who can't appreciate other fields of health care shouldn't ever get involved in health care. I want to be a Neuropsychologist, is it because I can't make it to Med School for Neurology? No it's because I'm interested in a specific field of study.
