What kind of role would you want to take in the band? you play REALLY well. but, im not a fan of most -core bands... i do not enjoy their screams, most of the lyrics bug me, and most of the riffing is kinda boring. :P BUT i do like some All That Remains, Protest the Hero, and The Black Dahlia Murder :) (and i liked that song you played in your vid lol) one thing that i LOVE with hardcore/deathcore is the breakdowns. id want to start a band that cant be put in a single genre. (example: Bodom) i tried recording some screams with my crapty webcam mic, but it turned out awful.. but i got a camera and the mic on it is not too bad so ill be posting a vid soon :) ive been composing since the age of 8.. and i can write lyrics too :) im a classically trained musician so i can work with harmonies and transposing from one key to another and all that stuff :P my role in the band? well, id love to scream, sing a little bit if it has to be done, write music, write lyrics, manage finances, and book shows! (i have connections in the folk/black/death metal scene downtown.) Carleton University

but i can say that waterloo has a decent deathcore/hardcore scene (ive seen it for myself) and toronto is amazing for folk/black/death/thrash metal
