Hi I am wondering which engineering field I should pursue?
I know mining and nuclear will be big in the future.
However, what about computer engineering mostly, and others like mechanical, civil, electrical? I have to make a decision and I can't focus on my studies without doing this. My options are limited to engineering sadly so I really don't know what i should do.

Take a general first year then. That will help you a lot in deciding what you like. You can easily do some research to give you an idea of what is employable, and where.

You'll figure out what you want to do when you get to university.

Like others have said, get a taste of all of them through a general first year and then you will be able to have a better idea at what you actually enjoy doing. Even if you still don't know, switching programs isn't that big of a deal to find the right fit. Electrical & Biomedical Engineering '13 McMaster University

That really depends on where you apply and how competent you are with your area of study. Some companies might want a specialized employee such as yourself and others might not require as much education for the positions. Do your research with the companies that are in your sector of interest and talk to colleagues or professors in the field. Electrical & Biomedical Engineering '13 McMaster University

Yes, I am satisfied with you but in my opinion at the time Nuclear and mechanical engineers are in demand and these type of branches like mining and civil always provide Line of Best Fit into good job opportunities.
