What are my chances of getting in with a 83.5% average? Also, what is conditional offer average... and if you got into this program, what was your average?

I'm pretty sure Western's general minimum average is an 84%. That is what I have heard from everyone else. Nursing for example needed an 89% average. UWO: Nursing Class of 2016!

I got an offer back in february to the general science program with an 85-86 average. The offer says you have to maintain an 84 average but I think you might still have a shot. Good luck! University of Toronto

....if the conditional average is 84 and my average is 83.5....does that mean I cannot get in? or are there cases where they accept people below their cutoff if more seats are available?

While of course my word is by no means justified, I have absolutely no way of knowing this, but I think this means you won't receive acceptance. The requirement for all programs is an 84% to maintain, so I don't think they are intending to accept anyone with any marks for any program with less than an 84% because it wouldn't make sense to accept people with less than that but revoke admissions if people get marks less than that. I would contact admissions if I were you, but also if you do receive rejection, all hope is not lost! I'm sure there's some way to apply for reconsideration. I would work really really hard toward your exams if I were you and try to push your mark up to an 85 if there's any way that you can and then contact admission with your final marks! Good luck! The University of Western Ontario, Class of 2016Offered Admission to:
