I think UWO biomed is out for you, same with medical radiation at Mac. Not sure about the others.

Bio meds, med rad and nursing are gone for you. They all require mid to high 80s.

Don't worry, you still have a shot at the tough programs. You have till late may and even the summer to reapply. Not everyone that applies to those programs actually picks them once accepted. Talk to your guidance people and call the school asking whats the rough entry average for this year.

Guidance counselors are jerks and don't tell you this till you're in their offices crying. You'll have to wait till I think June but basically what happens is they have spots left in many programs due to the fact that not everybody picked their program. It's at that time that OUAC posts a list of schools that are looking still for applicants. I'm not sure of the details but if you confront your guidance people they'll have to help you out. There aren't many openings for specific programs with tough admission but I'm sure you can find something to your liking, it's a pretty big selection.

as for the summer course I'm not sure. The deadline I think is in september or august so if you're done by then you'll have to send your summer course marks directly to the school. Ask the institutions in question and your guidance people for more info... The bottom line is that if you dont get in in may it's not the end of the world..School's have admissions later than that.

You still have a shot at MoMac nursing, the admittance average is around an 80% (not sure of exact average).

Thank you guys so much for the info, I just hope I can keep my average until the end, just wondering, do the universities care about the final marks or not since you gotta accept an offer by June 1st and if the final average drops below what they want, will they take away your offer?

From what I know, they do. But usually they're flexible if you got in for the last round. You'll get a minimum average handed to you in the acceptance letter and it's usually reasonable, usually in the 70's. Be careful through because some schools are particular about which subjects they want at what average by the end of the year. If you do lousy in a course though.. you can always take summer classes. They weed out who didn't keep their end in August or july which gives you time to submit to your desired school your summer marks which will then be considered instead for your final gpa.

I've been told York Kinesiology is a good program and is a very competitive faculty and suppose to be one of Yorks best program.
Good Luck and Congratulations!
