Depends on the school. If you're thinking about Mac, you might hear back from them really late. My friend got her offer yesterday and she has a 90% average. However, she will be attending Waterloo for Life Science. Life Science at Waterloo is low to mid 80s so you should get into Waterloo.,

Oh sorry, i forgot to include which universities im talking about, lol.
But yeah, i'm referring to McMaster, UTM, Western (health science).

But back to topic, yeah i'm thinking the same thing. It's weird, people are telling me the cut off is 90, but i know people getting in with 86's and 87. :s

UTM and Western you definitely have a good shot, just be patient with Western.

Mac the cut-off this year is 89%. People who have been accepted with lower grades tend to have special circumstances such as IB/AP. Still, I recommend being patient. I actually just changed my path from Life Sci to Kin at Mac. I originally thought Life Sci, but I looked at the courses Kin students take and they are very interesting. Kin is also a much smaller, more selective program which is direct entry. Not as selective as Health and ArtSci, but I think the cut-off is usually in the really high 80s. Just recently Life Scis cut off shot up.

Good luck!

I think the required subjects are important. Make sure, if you're taking them this semester, that you improve them (ex. math). You definitely have a good chance!

Good luck :)
