So I need to choose between Chinese, Japanese, and Political Science course for my first year elective at the University of Ottawa.
I don't know if they'll let me take a level 200 course for Japanese, as I've already passed level 3 JLPT and scored 100% in Japanese 12 language challenge.
I'm interested in political science, but have no clue what it's like, so I thought I'd take it first year to get a feel of it.
As for Chinese, I know Japanese kanji already so it'll be easier for me, plus I thought it'd be interesting.

Anyone been to UOttawa and have taken any of these courses? Or anyone have suggestions? Thanks! :)

Under new students on ottwa u website, you can actually chat with students live during a specific time slot and ask them for their opinion and course selection.

Thanks! I'll try to look that up.
I'm just worried that not many of them might be taking the courses I'm thinking about
