anyways, JUST IN! - HSci applicants, you can start your timers :P someone on twitter mentioned healthsci to @macadmit and the response was the following:
"Shouldn't be too much longer. After months of waiting, ~ 100 hours remain." (May 6, 8:19 PM)
Thursday night? Friday morning!? I think every time more details come out, all the applicants cringe just a little bit! well maybe not, but our hearts start to race a little bit faster... or is that just me? D:
It's not just you, it's everyone on this thread who is waiting for the response.

I did "race." I wrote my essays last minute, which I kinda regret now.
Ah well. If it was meant to be, then it will be. 100 hours left though! Getting so anxious. I'm going to be checking my email every other minute soon.

Wow, great work! I don't know if I interpreted the questions differently, but my responses were very different from all of yours in that my writing style was more scientific and succinct. Maybe it's just my personality. I noticed that you guys included a plethora of anecdotes and descriptive details, which I did not use. I focused on the development of a thesis type response with explanations and elaborations. I kind of let the last one flow freely so to speak, so it was less structured. I'm feeling a little apprehensive now. Did anyone happen to adapt a more direct approach? I guess I just didn't plan on winning them with my writing style as much I wanted to express my ideas in a way that's easy for them to understand in the midst of hundreds of applications. Lol, please enlighten me. Anyway, sorry for going off on a tangent. Excellent responses! :) Waterloo 2018 Honours Bachelor of Science (CAP 2012)

mrdoctorsurgeon, I think your second response is creatively unique. The word "ours" embodies unity, which is arguably the most powerful element that we, as humans, possess. I love how your first response included a short story of why you want to help others and pursue medicine, but I think using fewer examples of ECs and more illustrations to the event's impact on you would have been even more effective. For instance, I think it would have been interesting to learn why you had that epiphany after your initial air of annoyance, and how that one commonplace event has ultimately defined who you are today. Overall very interesting to read! Definitely a good score on your supp app! :) Hughsam, your second response is one of my favourites! Very true! Waterloo 2018 Honours Bachelor of Science (CAP 2012)

@thekelvster thank you for your comment. Saying that I would get a good score just brightened up my day. I hope I get into the program though. I thought that by adding my ECs, I could kinda show who I am because I don't do them just to say I have ECs, I do them because I actually believe in them. I thought that would paint a good picture of who I am. But I can see where that would go wrong. And LOL, I wanted to add about how I got the epiphany but it just came to me. I don't know how but it just came to me XD. I wish the best of luck for everyone. I have very (very very) tough competetion. I'm not sure if anybody here had done any research on students who got accepted (in this forum and old forum) against their supp application that had been posted to get a feel what kind of a student they are looking for.
If you have ,then your chances of getting in is probably high . I think there is a reason why (saw last year's supp) they ask for your name , school name, address etc . They have to be as diverse as possible in their acceptance or otherwise they could have just marked the application based on the OUAC # and not ask for personal details. It's pure luck from here on ! and if you get rejected there are probably other factors that play a much bigger role than your marks and supplementary application.
Anyway ,Good Luck to all of you'll and I'm sure glad I did not apply. Too much stress !!!!!!

so youre saying mcmaster is racist? O_O racist is not the word I would ever use because I know non of the schools in Canada really are ..... I just think every school has a certain quota and criteria that they may have to fulfill. I just find it personally weird that they get to see your personal info when marking your supplementary application. In one of the questions that they had asked the previous year was, If there were one question which should not be asked , what would the question be and why - my answer without even thinking for a sec was not to ask personal information question on this supplementary application and I would have given them exactly why and it has nothing to do with racism, absolutely. Perhaps the school is asking for your address , because they have a certain quota for out of province students. Who here really knows for a fact that the admission criteria is solely based on marks and supplementary application and the top 160 or whatever the number is gets in automatically. If that is ever the case , in my opinion we have that 160 in this forum itself .
